The Ralph Edwards Show
Towards the end of The Penny Parade Dr. Kate was still short on money. To solve this problem the Woodruff community had set up Kate to appear on The Ralph Edwards Show. During Kate's appearance on the ever so popular television show mail had come flooding in from around the entire world. All of the mail had contained various donations containing anywhere from pennies to checks worth $1,000.
